High-Protein Fit Flour Bagels
High-protein bagels made with Fit Flour and plain nonfat Greek yogurt.
- Yield
- 4 bagels
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 cup Fit Flour (@fit.flour code AINSS for 10% off)
- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1–2 tablespoons water (only if needed)
- 1 egg (beaten with a splash of water, for brushing)
- Everything seasoning, cinnamon, sesame seeds, or flaky salt
Directions
- 1
Heat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Mix the Fit Flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 3
Stir in the Greek yogurt until a shaggy dough forms.
- 4
Gently knead for about 30–60 seconds. Fit Flour contains vital wheat gluten and guar gum, so avoid over-kneading. If the dough seems crumbly, add water 1 teaspoon at a time.
- 5
Divide into four pieces. Roll each into a rope and connect the ends, or form a ball and poke a large hole through the middle.
- 6
Place on the baking sheet, brush lightly with egg wash, and add your seasoning.
- 7
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and firm.
- 8
Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing so the centers finish setting and enjoy.
